As long as it doesn't fry the ECU I think it's worth a try.

If it fries the ECU, then Calum ECU coming sooner then expected

Here is one diagram and part numbers.

This will work if you still have the O2 sensor connected, since mine broke off completely, I will have to follow the way to get rid of it completely.

Well I tried doing one thing, but that resulted in me almost burning my car down haha.

Problem was the resistor was not strong enough.

So went back to goggling and found this

Alright I've made the device! It's been attached so far no CEL. I will be posting pictures as I upload them.

I will drive for a bit and will see if the CEL comes back

Let the Resistor Mod Begin!
Well here is what I have so far. I will update this thread to say if it keeps the CEL off or not.

If it works out, I will post part numbers etc. hehe

So the first part is to remove the Signal wire:

Now time to kill the two heater wires:

Basically I'm using four 50 ohm, 10 watt resistors. You need a min of 12 watt resistor, but to be safe using 4.

Soldered On

So next big thing is making it water proof and just secure:

And finally installed and held by the heat shield
