USDM S14 SR20DET Swap, Car doesn't want to start
Bought this car with the swap in already and have had a long road with it. A new problem arose and has gotten me a little stumped. Long story short the motor was recently put back in due to oil pump replacement and I started it one day, when after a few minutes of it being on we realized the between the two of the coil packs the harness was sparking and I had shut it off to see what happened. I try to start the car and now she doesn't want to start. Not sure what to do here, I replaced the coil packs and harness thinking maybe it went bad, but it still doesn't start. It cranks and I smell the gas, but when I pulled the new ignition coils out and put a screwdriver close to the end of the coil pack there was no spark, would the test be better with the spark plug actually in it and then ground it to the valve cover? I pulled my ignitor and tested the polarities and it passed 2/3 tests so I'm guessing its bad, but not sure if this would be the problem for sure. I have yet to check the CAS and thinking I should since it was running super rich anyways, as well as when I crank it it doesn't move the rpm gauge. Need help, am I going in the right direction, and what else should I check?

I think you're headed in the right direction.
One small note, I do think putting a spark plug into the coil(s) and grounding the electrode is a bit of a better test for ignition than what you're doing (since you asked).
