Thread: Upgrading B14 Suspension in 2024! Advice Needed….

Related to my “Restoring/Upgrading a 99 SE-L post”, i need to fix/upgrade my suspension and would like some advice.

-Car is a 99 SE-L. I will never race the car in any way, just want a fun second car to drive around on weekends with generally improved handling and a lowered look.
-I am on a budget and don’t really want to spend more than $800 if possible.
-I’ve read the suspension thread. The problem is a lot of the recommended parts that are affordable dont seem to be available anymore. Can’t find Hyperco or Road Magnet springs. Front AGX struts dont seem to be available anymore. (Although i hear B13 AGX fronts work just as well?) Etc.
-I have a set of Intrax springs in my garage i never installed years ago (yes, i know they aren’t great)

What do i do? Buy an affordable set of coilovers? If so, which ones specifically? Install the Intrax with KYB AGX struts (B14 rear, B13 front), Koni 40mm bumpstops, and move on with life? Something else? Recommend to replace anything else at the same time?

Any specific advice on what i should do, or where to find any relevant parts would be great.
