Thread: Need some advice on my built

I have a Sr20ve with N1 cams and i added a holset hx40 turbo with a 63
Mm housing on it. I’m thinking about running 15psi on the stock sr20ve. Do you think thats safe? Can it handle it?

I don't think that's going to work. If memory serves me the HX40 is a large turbo, and 15 PSI would be a lot of air. I think you're looking at close to 500 WHP worth of air there? I'd be worried about the stock head studs at that point, and the stock head gasket, and possibly even the rods. They all seem like they'd have a tough time there. I'd go for a much more modern turbo, and smaller of course, and aim for something around 400 WHP or even a bit less if you're going to keep things stock.
