Thread: Budget coil on plug or coil near plug

So since it's been so many years since we've talked about it, what's everyone doing these days? I got a s13 det haltech elite 1500 with pnp harness and it's opened up the doors for upgrades for my ignition system (b13 se-r ve-t 6spd) I wouldn't be opposed to retaining the stock dist/cas and doing some LS coils or something..

Why not try the PRP P11 coil mount kit so you can use the R35 coils. The kit is about $360. You can source the coils from other places to find the best deal( est $350).

This will allow you to mount coils using the P11 VC and have a clean look, reliable and powerful coil.

I ended up buying the vet stuff from Jose.

There's Soo many options these days but seems like most of us just do the same proven setups instead of venturing out of the norm.
