Whatever happened to my unicorn SE-R??
Hello everyone. Yes this is the original 93se-r from 8 years ago. Just wondering if anyone knew what eventually became of my SE-R. After selling it i just didn't have the heart to remain connected to the forum. Frankly just too painful. Owned a shit ton of cars, but this is the only one that still haunts me. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Hope all the SR20 faithful are doing well, and looking forward to a great Christmas!

Sincerely,

93SE-R

Hey 93se-r,

I remember your car. It was one of the first prime condition SE-Rs to be sold in a series of low mileage ones over the past few years. Seems there’s still a few out there in good shape. I’m sure you heard of the 445 mile (not a typo) one on BAT a little while back that went for good money. The white ones always have a soft spot for me though.

As for what happened to yours, I’m not sure at all. From what I’ve seen, there’s members of the forum and then there’s collectors who snatch them up and don’t really deal with the forum. Two different groups for whatever reason. It would be nice to see that car again. It was well preserved. I wish owners of the rarer ones would document their journeys with them. But maybe since they aren’t modifying them or driving them much there’s not much to document.

When you say “haunted”, do you mean there’s a bit of regret? I have a decently clean ‘92 that I’ve been trying to clean up to sell, but I’m going back and forth on if I should. Took me a while to find this one, and I probably won’t find one like it again, especially now that the prices have gone up.
