In a world full of differences, and in a world full of individuals that actively seek to compel others to do as they do, and in a world where the outliers, the visionaries, those that are generally unemcumbered by the typical, socially-constructed ideals, what reigns supreme is the notion that those who disagree with the masses, those that choose to oppose, those that question the highly-filtered normality of it all, these outliers, are nothing more than 'roadblocks' to the ultimate portrait that will one day be painted by the very few who wield power over and speak for the very many.

It has always been our differences that make us great, not our similarities. Seek originality, at all costs. Seek to be different, at all costs. Seek that which you do not know in hopes that someday you will understand. Seek out the speciality of it all before the only thing that is special about our society is that once upon a time we were once special. Seek change that is inclusive of those that wish not to change at the same pace as you, or even at all. Seek NOT to fight for the rights and freedoms of "all", all while violating the rights and freedoms of those that oppose you. Be the contradiction that you already are, that we all are, beneath the mask that is our humanity.

What does all this mean? I'd be happy for this place to be busy once again. A special niche place like this, I hope it stays around in some modest form for many years to come! Ben, I know you'll likely read this post - can we still donate to the forum? Would this be helpful? Feel free to PM me. I'd like to put my money right here where my mouth........I mean, where my comma-laden post is.

BTW - if you agree with what I have to say, you're likely old or getting old like me. :]

Anything like that would be helpful, but I don't feel right taking money from people while the forum is still in need of major features, like thread subscriptions, proper search, and the members list.
Also, "forum supporters" is another major feature we lack, that once we get back, would be the appropriate way to support the forum monetarily.
Until then, and as always, just posting and being active here is immeasurable support.

Thank-you for your candor. I look forward to contributing when the time is right.

I'll definitely try to make more of an effort in being active around here.

I wonder if there has been any consideration given to maybe making this place more of a 'forum member hang-out spot' than it currently is or even was in the past? Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see Nissan giving us any updated SR engines anytime soon, and these platforms, as you know all too well yourself, are a dying breed. I honestly wouldn't have a problem with other makes/models being a bit more prominent on here so long as the heritage of this place remains intact as much as possible. For sure we have the "member's rides" section, and there are other areas where non-SR content can be discussed, but maybe there is room for a more dedicated "other vehicles and builds" section that brings some of the old members back here, and even some new members as well?

As much as we would all like to keep things exclusive and original, the long-term future of places like these will only carry-on with new generations of kids. I guess there is a always a fine line between tradition and sustainability for the future.

I keep posting in Members Rides. I purchased a 2006 Cadillac CTS-V and a few more P10s to add to my stable since you last posted @B15NEOVVL

Hey, Kyle! The other day I was actually looking at the thread you created for you father's old 510. Those cars were so 'simple' and stunning at the same time.

I'll have to check out the members rides section a bit more indepth.
