Surprised the SE-R didn’t bring more but maybe it’s because of the accident it was involved in. I was expecting it to crest $10k. One of the cleanest superblack ones I’ve seen. The NX fetched a good amount.

I thought the SE-R would go for more, too. Especially being listed on the heels of the NX and it having gone for what it did. Still it was cool to see the cars listed and a lot of love for them in the comments.

There was an SE-R that went for $12.5k or so on BaT a little while back. Someone has the link I'm sure.

I've been lurking on this site searching for the right B13 SE-R for quite a while. There never seems to be the right car. Either the mileage is too high or it's got a salvage title or issues etc etc etc. But finally the right car showed up!... this car, so I finally pulled the trigger. So yes, I'm the new owner of the car in question and eventually, when all this chaos in the world slows down I will fly to Seattle and drive it back home to San Diego. I don't care about the car having past accident history because so long as it's only the skin that doesn't bother me. The fact that it is a rust-free car with no 5th gear pop out was key. Plus the car was not white as I'm violently allergic to white cars. So I look forward to reading all the technical content on this site and enjoying my new, bone stock SE-R. - Eric

I think you made an excellent purchase there Eric! Clearly it is a buyers market for this type of thing. And we all know the struggle of trying to find a decent B13. They are just so damn rare, no one even talks about them.

You got a good one! On July 2nd 2009 I purchased a super-clean, one owner, 1992 SE-R; think it had 104k at the time. I paid $4k at the time, which some thought was way too much, but I saw the value in it and never regretted one penny spent because it was "the right car" for me.

Best of luck with it, and please keep us updated after you pick it up.
