Thread: Jay Michaud Needs Our Help! (eggman)

This is another call to arms within the SR20-community.

Jay is one of the most kind people I have ever met within any car community and especially in the SR20-universe. Jay has been there for many other people, whether it be some parts, some food, or a good ear to lean into when you need a friend. I have known him for a long time and I have had a great time with him each time I have had the pleasure of being in his presence throughout the years. He is a very classy guy and has a heart bigger than his smile. Which some of you may know that is a big smile

Jay is sick, in a hospital now, going through multiple organ failures. A few community members have visited him, and some are taking care of his house and his belongings, and even taking care of Jay Michauds family.

Please take a moment to click the link and donate to Jay and his family. The money will be used to cover medical expenses and more after that. If there is one thing I know, this car community has helped out more than once when a fellow enthusiast is set-back. Jay is fighting for his life so please donate what you can. The entire SR20 community appreciates it.

Oh Man!! This is terrible news ! Speedy Recovery!!

Guys, after seeing him yesterday. Words can not express the feeling of sadness for him. He's really struggling and has been somewhat aware of the people that have visited him so far. He's holding on with every breath right now and really needs the thoughts and support.

If you have the means, please go see him. He can't really communicate that well. But, with every squeeze of a hand he knows that we are here for him and love him deeply. Do please, at all... If you can visit. Do do now.

So sad. Jay and I never met in person but had a lot of conversations on fb. He seemed like a great guy. Very tolerant of my newbish questions having been dormant in the SR community for a while (finally starting to come back in with my VE swap almost ready). My heart goes out to his family and friends.
