Thread: Getting back into the game

Hey all I was a frequent member in the past and now I’m looking to get back into the game. I will be looking at some of the B13s around my area soon, one is T 25 powered and another T28. I do have a few questions and concerns.

First what are good sites to purchase parts from? G spec, Jim wolf, and JGY?

Second what are my options for tuning? Jk or Jim Wolf still jabbing at these things?

Third I want to make around 350hp and 300ish tq. What do y’all recommend? Can I build around a disco Potato and is S4 cam way to go still?

G Spec and JWT still sell stuff for the cars. There are few options as they are old and limited. JGY still sucks. I don't know much about turbo but I am sure the disco and S4 is a really great feeling setup.

G Spec Performance is still the place to be.

JGY is a fucking joke. Avoid at all costs.

Tuning has moved to the JK Tuning (Nismotronic) option mostly these days. Or stand-alone (AEM is popular) as always.

300-350WHP is certainly disco potato territory. No S4 cam needed, but the S4HL cam would only help you if you want to add it. It is still the cam to go with.
