Thread: Not starting on key turn

Hey,
I got a 1994 Sentra se-r that the starter doesnt engage at all when the key is turned to start. No solenoid click. When I apply battery voltage to the solenoid it starts fine. Any idea whats going on, or what I can check?

It could be this thing.



I can not tell you how it is called in English. It fixed my car after learning that a wire to the starter wire connected with the plus of the battery made my car start. I own a manual though.

Clutch switch and ignition cylinder electronics are two great places to look. Good suggestions guys.
