Or maybe make sure you get injectors you can return if they don't end up being the solution?

If you are doing injectors, make sure you get new o-rings (top and bottom) and have some petroleum jelly around to lube the injector o-rings. New o-rings are VERY important. Your current ones will fall to pieces once you remove them.

so I scrapped my injector idea and went with putting a bigger exhaust piping on the car and IT WORKED!!!! somewhat...….. I just ran the car speed slowly stopped around 96/97 mph (was unable to tell if it was red hot because its super sunny right now) but not the big 120 like I had previously got up to. I only made the piping of the car 2.25" about half of the piping. now my question is if the manifold is no longer red hot and I put 2.25 inch piping from the manifold down will the stock heat shield fit that big of a pipe and if not will running the car without the heat shield be wise for a daily driving situation
