Hot Engine Stalling!
I have been having issues recently where my engine will not hold an idle when its hot. Now the car is a dedicated race car now so it is not daily driven. Engine is a jdm sr20de and when i first start it up it runs fine and holds idle no issue but after a 30 minute race and getting back into paddock or impound/tech as soon as the rpms drop I am at idle it will just stall completely. I can always restart it fine but when the engine is hot unless i am modulating the gas and keeping the RPM's up it will continue to stall until it cools down for a few hours. Any ideas?

FSM Diagnostic Procedure - Engine Stalls when Hot
- Check fuel vapor
- Perform power balance test
- Check injectors & circuits
- Check ignition spark / spark plugs / iginition coil / power transistor & their circuits (EF & EC - 182)
- Check fuel pressure / fuel pressure regulator diaphragm
- Check ECM harness connector
- Check ECM power supply and ground circuit
- Try a known good ECM*
* ECM may be the cause of a problem, but it is rarely the case

Injectors are easy to check with multimeter, should be 10-14 ohms.
My 93 SE-R did not stall when hot, however @ 208k miles injector #2 died, replaced it with a used injector.
At 209.5k miles, injector #4 died, had infinite resistance.
Checked the others - Injector#1 was 43 ohms, #3 was 17 ohms.
So I had to replace all 4 injectors at about the same time.
For me, all the injectors increased resistance as they failed.

are you over pressurizing the fuel tank? vented cell or stock tank?

stock tank. not showing any fluctuation in fuel pressure from guage or wideband. I am changing out the Ignitor for the ignition again. i replaced it last year with a cheap one so maybe it just failed again. I have one ordered and will have to wait and see. luckily it hasn't affected performance still have full power and no stalling issues on track only when i get off track and get to paddock or when idling in grid to go out on track.

My B14 used to do this very randomly. Only when warm and coming to a stop. Never figured it out as that car has been hard parked since 2016.

I know it is almost never the answer to adjust the idle screw, but when mine did what Kyle was saying, I backed out the screw a tiny bit and it solved all of the problems forever.
