Thread: Exhaust hangers and other misc exhaust Q

So while I am re doing my exhaust here shortly ( Finally got my check from the IRS woot)..... I am trying to do things once and right so i can forget about it and focus on school. I know the Kartboy exhaust hangers have been mad popular in the past, but doing some reasearch I have found that there are small differences between what people bought before and what Kartboy makes today.

The Kartboy hangers of the past sr20forum group buys were 10 and 12mm length Exhaust hangers. The ones Kartboy makes now are 15mm length.
Now, im sure that if they are still able to be used on our B13s, it would definitely be an improvement over my old oem hangers holding on to my 3 inch VRS grapefruit cannon for dear life. So, my question is what is everybodys opinion about these, and also if anybody has any reccomendations for exhaust hangers please help. I am looking to replace just about every hanger, I am sick of having it hang so low.

Also, I have followed the ultimate resonator quest closely and am pleased with everybodys results. But I have been wondering about a different option...

I am wondering if I can stuff this bad boy underneath my car. I have no cat, and no res at the moment ( yes my car sounds like the hounds of hell unleashed.) Discuss....

I thought the 10, 12 and 15 mm referred to the holes that were in the hanger for you to actually attach your exhaust with not the length of the hanger. b13's are 10mm iirc and the 12 sort of worked, but I'd guess that the 15's will have way too much slop to really have an advantage vs the orm rubber ones.

Are you talking about hangers or hanger bushings? If you are talking about kartboy hanger bushings I didn't think they were available for our cars anymore. If they are, please let me know. All I could find as far as bushings go are these..

As far as a resonator I think the biggest you can fit would be a 6" round Magnaflow like this one...

yes that one & that is the price for one. Pretty steep considering I would need 4 of them.

Go to frsport.com , circuit sport mhb-001-GD they are for a 240 but fit soo perfect.. Only downside is they only come in blue..... A little vaseline and they slide on perfect 30.00 for 3.....

Is that a downside? haha who's going to see them!!!
