So I went to FedEx and picked up the CAI today. Looks like a quality piece.

Nice Muffler

I installed my CAI tonight and took it for a spin, the growl is now outside and is a bit louder. I think I personally liked it a little muffled (sounded deeper).

Overall I'm pretty impressed but not too impressed.

Now it is actually chilly tonight, I connected the AIR Temp sensor to the CAI, so I could get a temp reading on the ScanGauge II.

Alright down to numbers, after beating on the car a little, the best BHP I could get out of the ScanGauge is 205 BHP with air temperatures of 69*F. Now with a stock piping and JWT Pop charger, I was able to get 206 BHP at about 80*F before.

So the Pop charger does help a lot, now I really want to get the pop charger on the CAI, but sadly there is not much room between the piping and the fog light, so it might not fit.

Anyway onto pictures

Wow! So you got better results with the popcharger than you did with the AEM? The blue tubing looks really nice next that sweet Cusco FSTB.

It did have a good mid range power, not sure how it felt up top yet though hehe.

I think I will be doing what I was planning to do all along. Short Ram intake, box around it, with air being pushed into it from the outside

I was gonna say since you have that cool scan gauge thing try running it as a warm air intake with the pop on the end and see if you get better results

I can hehe

But the only concern that I have is, it might not fit...

I might try the JWT or another velocity stack though
