Who cares if I bought the intake for less than $100? So I should just sell it for what I bought it for out of the kindness of my heart? Before those went for sale on Ebay the cheapest one you could find was $250 + shipping. It's not my fault if someone didn't jump on the Ebay sale while they could. You snooze... You lose...

You know I would feel bad, but for people that missed the deal, their only option is to buy them brand new or very used. Now considering the fact that AEM is probably discontinuing these, marking it up is just a way of life.

And either way the person that buys it for $200 is saving about $100 from not buying Brand New from AEM.

You misunderstand, it does "work" where it is per se, but the battery relocation bracket is made for the B13 chassis and when used on a B14 you're then using less battery attachment points. I have it installed right now, everything works fine, but my battery is very loose, definitely too loose to pass a tech inspection at autocross. As far as daily driveability goes it's just up to whether it bugs you or not.

it's kinda the same deal as when the Goodridge SS brake lines were being sold online for $30. Some of those who bought them turned around and sold them at closer to retail prices. I bought mine for $80 and I was glad not to have to pay $120 for the set. Likewise you can buy this AEM CAI right now from a store for $207 to $597 just checking Google shopping, and the $207 one is from AEM and we all think that they sold out so the next cheapest one is $323. Even at the $200 he was asking the buyer is saving almost as much money as the seller is making. I've got a friend here in town who bought the CAI that 99sel sold on the other forum a while ago, I think he paid $260 + shipping for it a year ago. I'm sure he would have liked to save an extra $60.

Exactly. Now if it was a close friend of mine that wanted it, I wouldn't really sell it with any or too much $$ over what I paid.

Do you guys seriously think that the online stores that have the AEM listed for $597 have them in stock? I expect that most of these sites just list the AEM (or most companies) catalogs, and then just have the company drop ship to the customer. So in other words, if AEM doesn't have them I don't think a sale would be made.

As far as selling them for a profit, I don't have any issues with that; but I think people are forgetting that Sentra owners are notorious tight asses, so that big dollar sale might not occur.....selling one for $150 after paying $70 wouldn't be bad though.

^I hear this all the time, but I don't consider myself tight. I have two sentra's and both of them are being done up right for my needs. I just know that my bills come first. I don't mind paying good money for parts, as long as the quality meets the dollar.
