Thread: Need help with clutch install: shifter is wrong position ?

Well as opposed to leaving that short 14 mm down in the mount after dropping it...I used a magnet to get it out

I got it out using the magnet too hahaha. Just can't find where it goes

I know on the actual b15's, to access that bolt the crossmember needs pulled down with the rear motor mount still attached to see the hole the bolt goes through bracket mount attaches. The mount actually sits in the way. Now I have pulled tons on b13/b14 trans and I never remove the crossmember at all. And I don't know how a b15 trans looks in a b14 but I just recently pulled some and had to drop crossmember on both b15's in rear to get to the bolt inside the hole.

I called it in my head before you so that mean I win.

Only time I've experienced that was with a saggy rear motor mount. Not sure it had to do with chassis or not.

However, the actual CAUSE of the issue was mentioned in your first statement: Over the weekend @SE-RMonkey and I installed a brand new Exedy clutch.
