haha... I could see that happening in a manner of speaking... (removing the engine to turn it upside down that is)....

Heck, we had to pull the transmission to pull out a broken piece that holds the axle in (that clip broke when removing the axle and of course it couldn't be fished out without removing the transmission and halving it because of the deep spot it shot into!) ...it totally sux when what is almost done/fixed turns into a much longer project like that!

I know exactly what you mean, they had a pair of those at Walmart for like $5. I got them too just in case the glue didn't work.
Actually I wasnt sure if the "grip" would be strong enough on the end to pull up the ring since it was wedged in there pretty well.
