The 1.6L should work, but it does have slightly more steering angle than a SR rack. I am not sure if this will cause issues with the SR axles at full steering lock. The 1.6L outer tie rods may need to be used with the 1.6L rack since the part numbers are different. Maybe the thread pitch is different or slight difference in length.

^ also, you can use a b14 power steering rack BUT will need to use the B14 tie rods as well if you do.... as it turns out, when we had to replace our 94 SE-R steering rack, we ordered a correct steering rack only to find out what was in there was from a b14 (which caused problems with our core return)... just interesting stuff...
