I didn't read through this whole thing. But it sounds exactly like you have a bad coolant temp sensor. Hard starts when cold but easy to start when warm. Ill bet you either have a coolant leak or your sensor is bad.

No leaks, coolant temp sensor was replaced with a new one already no change. I've just been long cranking, pumping the gas pedal during crank to get it to eventually fire up but I think it's getting worse, cranks seem longer, perhaps becuz it's getting colder.....

You checked the harness to the Sensor? and have you burped your coolant system recently?

**UPDATE**

Finally got around to swapping IACV/AAC. Had a spare from a low port that I popped on to see what would happen. Well far as I can tell basically no change. I hooked consult up to 3 of my other stock highport SR20 cars that are running proper to see if i could noticed any differences. Only thing I really noticed is the AAC values when I first start each is initially at 70% and this car its around 50-60%. The other 3 seems to drop slowly as the car warmed up to around 45% and this car dropped more rapid to about 35% and eventually about 22% when fully warmed up. I let them all warm to about 180F. In all case however values jump up a bit with revving and fall back down to where they were so it would appear they are all functioning properly. I pretty certain i can confirm swapping IACV/AAC units had no change from how the other was operating so I think I can rule this out.....which is a bummer cuz i was hoping that this was the issue. Thing I might have to throw in the towel on this ones boys, she got me beat.

Posting only Bc speedy is my boy.. My cousin just had hard cold start issues quite similar to yours. He lives a couple hours away so I didn't get to check it out, but he took it to a shop and it ended up being the distributor. He says it starts fine now (B14)

Was his only giving him trouble on cold start? No run issues just longer cranks or so when cold?

Mine appears perfectly fine, looks almost brand new even, Altho I think it's still the original. Might be worth swapping to a different one if I can find a spare. Right now I only have obd2 spares.
