Absolutely correct! A used condenser is not a good idea either... unless you just enjoy redoing jobs. When I added AC to my NX that didn't come with it, I bought the entire system that "was blowing cold when removed". I bought a new dryer, oring kit, & had the motor rebuilt. The used condenser looked good...I even straightened some fins and pressure washed it from the back. Regardless, my first long trip (to the convention!), the AC failed. Turns out the condenser was not doing its job of removing heat well enough, causing head pressure to rise until it popped the pressure relief valve. A new condenser , new pressure relief valve, and more refrigerant and it's been rocking ever since.

I am having it all vacuumed out at an actual shop Sunday morning just to be safe.

P.S. It was 90 degrees here yesterday and the AC still nice and cold

Has been working fine for 2 1/2 weeks

It's my friends shop, they do work for friends on Sunday's but are technically closed

Lines vacuumed out today with the pumps and refilled with fresh refigerant.
Air blowing a lot colder too than it was during the first 2 weeks it was all installed. Took about 45 minutes
