Makes sense, less air in the lines, more refrigerant. Did you get a new drier installed? That really should be changed any time the system is opened up to the atmosphere, as mentioned above, so the ability to pull moisture out of the system is maximized.

Autozone didn't have them in stock but I ordered one for possible future use. Since to install would have to do all the stuff i did yesterday over again.

Side note: yesterday it was 90 degrees out and I was in the car idling in a parking lot on the phone with the wonderful cold AC on full blast. (This was the first time I had sat idling for awhile with the AC on since i installed it). After 10 minutes I noticed the stock temp needle was starting to creep up a little high (and yes I know relying on that is a fools game) so I headed towards Autozone and as I got going the needle went back to normal. I bought and added a full bottle of Redline Water Wetter directly into the radiator and drove home. In an effort to recreate the earlier scenario, I let the car idle in my driveway with the AC again on full blast for 20-25 min and this time the temp needle never moved. That stuff really works! And maybe there was a little bubble in the hoses somewhere, or both.

PS yes both fans come on

Question regarding the HVAC, didn't think it was big enough to warrant a new thread:

Have any of you B14 owners had either the little A/C or Air circulation lights go out? And can you replace the bulb or what?

The little light that comes on when it's pushed in is out on the air circulate button. I read somewhere the bulb is a 74 but I dont know if I feel like pulling the entire console out just for that, since i still works regardless of the light.

This install was completed in early May 2016, it's now almost mid July and all is good. Sure, it's not as cold as my 2014 Juke at like 2PM and 94 degrees out, but its good enough. Love it.

one expected side effect, the car feels considerably slower upon WOT acceleration even when the A/C is turned off. I guess you take the good with the bad.

I have that same issue with that button and I would like to address it as well. I just haven't had the time to dive into it.

The bulbs can be replaced. I do not know the exact size but they are slightly larger than a grain of rice. i simply did not care to have a light illuminate when I know something is or is not working/ operating.

^that's in a B13 but may be similar. The light for the AC console in the B13 (there's only one) is the same as the ones in the cluster and can be upgraded w/an LED the same way. Hope this helps.

I am pretty sure they are identical. I may have the socket laying around somewhere from spares I pilfered from the Nissan dealer in random boxes of junk. But those look identical, Jody.
