Hey guys yet another unrelated issue- trying to install the ES shifter bushing. The stock bracket under neath the car has 2 10mm bolts, I got them loose but they keep spinning and spinning forever. It appears they are connected to the 2 strange bolts up in the interior towards the back side of the shifter, there's nothing to keep them from spinning because there's nothing to grab ??

sounds like a classic case of being stripped out to me!

...I've lost count how many times Mike has had to drill out something that was stripped and helicoil it between the Sentra and the G20.

Haha yup...definitely enough enough warrant a proper tap/die set! Not sure if it sounds stripped or a pressed in bolt came loose...but the "10mm" bolts/nuts are M6x1.0 and the "12mm" is an M8x1.25, just an fyi

Awesome. Thanks for the info. It appears the 2 bolts on up top, while very shallow, are 11mm. I need someone to sit in the car with a socket on them while I'm underneath the car to remove the nuts.

Amazing. Installation of the short shifter was a breeze, but this ES bushing is a huge pain in he arse.
