I just emailed him and found out he is out of Pennsylvania. Maybe it would be nice if someone with a clean and tight-driving example of a b13 met up with him ...?

I remember that commercial - like that one!
Some shots are not an SE-R - shift boot @ 0:03 and tach @ 0:15 in video.

That is most certainly an SE-R shift boot, the rubber version was what shipped in the first few weeks of production. I posted a nice little story about this a while back.

As for the tach, I'm not sure what the problem there is? My gauge cluster is on the far side of the garage at the moment, I'd have to dig a bit to track it down.

I thought about posting your story about the accordion shift boot when I saw his comment.

I also don't see what's wrong with the tach. It looks like mine -

I see it now, the video showed a redline at 7000, Vorin's has redline at 7500. The 4000 mark in the video is almost straight up, and is closer to 11 o'clock in Vorin's pic.

The cluster is a GA16DE cluster. Redline is 6900 and tach stops at 8k.

That's what I was referring to - should be 7500 redline.
Interesting on the rubber shift boot, hadn't seen that before!
Also looks like the "SE-R" is missing on the trunklid, looks more like 'special edition' or 'limited edition' @ 0:14.

Mine is still covered and will remain covered until the roads are clear of salt.

Did any owners of the B13 XE, LE etc. notice that the doors felt more solid? Like when you closed them they seemed to seal better than the SE-R models. I never figured it out if it was just me.
