Loss of an Unofficial Dash Member, My Pops
Most of you that hang out in the chat already know my Pops battled cancer for many years. He was diagnosed about 6 years ago with kidney cancer and given about 3 months to live. His kidney was removed but by then it had already spread other places. He was on a lot of experimental and trial drugs to help fight it that had its ups and downs. He baffled doctors by far exceeding expectations from the 3 months they had given him so I was thankful for that, but no matter how long you have knowing whats ahead nothing makes it any easier when the time arrives. My pops was mostly a old muscle car guy growing up with a lot of old thunderbirds, road runners, superbees, 'cudas to name few, but always loved working on cars. It was always just a big hobby of his as he was a music teacher by profession. His love of cars really sparked back up when I started into the SR20 scene years and years ago and i'm glad I was able to bring back out his inner car guy again working and collecting all these Nissans I have now. After I had purchased by first P10, he liked it and wanted one of his own. Along with a truck my dad leaves behind his 94 P10 and a beautiful mint condition 90 Corvette. The Corvette I will continue to care for when I can hopefully then pass it down to my kid, but I believe I'll be selling the P10 fairly cheap to a cousin of mine as I already have like 5 other SR20 cars to care for. I'm hoping perhaps I'm able to get my cousin more into the scene then so I have another set of hands to help me out with all these other rides lol.
