Aftermarket body panels
So, I know there are several guys here that are serious autobody guys, judging from some threads that I have looked at. But nowhere could I find helpful information regarding aftermarket body panels.

I'm looking to replace my rusted out front fenders with high quality aftermarket panels. I know most people here just find old fenders off of junk cars that they find, but here in the northeast, it's next to impossible to find them without rust. Even if I shipped them from the south, shipping costs are a little high due to dimensions.

I've heard from several people to look for CAPA certified body panels to ensure good fit and integrity. But I've also found from several people that even CAPA panels don't always fit. Is it still ideal to look for that CAPA sticker?

Also from looking on-line, the price range varies from $35 to $260 each per panel with almost no explanation given. Why the huge disparity? Below are some places that carry panels for the B13 Sentra. Are these reputable? Anyone have knowledge on this?

Replace® - Nissan Sentra 1992 Front Fender --> $46.30

Aftermarket NISSAN SENTRA FENDER Texas | OEM 6310065Y35 Partslink NI1241106 | replacement NISSAN SENTRA FENDER DFW TX - ISO Certified --> $116.80 (CAPA or no CAPA - same price?)

https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=701480&cc=1212848&jnid=485&jpid=0 --> $35.79

Nissan Sentra (1991-1994). #6310165Y35: Fender --> $248.35

https://www.parts.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=store.PartInfo&PartNumber=6310165Y35&VehicleID=93427&diagram=3730110&Title%3D-FENDER --> $226.66

The crazy thing is, many of them have the SAME PART NUMBER. Yet the prices are all over the place!

Anybody have an idea?

Go to rockauto for a fender for 40. Just line it up and be done with it.fitment issues always are adjustable by eye...imo.
