Very true, Dustin. I personally don't care, as it's not a track car. To each his own Besides, a GT30 series on my ride tells my butt dyno, that I shouldn't care about wheel weight
I've got 205s on my 7" wheel, and they've got the perfect look for the size. I'd prefer to run a 195 on anything smaller than a 7" wheel though, but that's got more to do with offset on narrower wheels.
oh yeah, 15x7 et+35 is perfectly flush with the fender in the front on a b13.. the back is about 8mm from being flush.
Yea the Miatas wont fit without some drilling on the center bore ....I found some closeout Primax wheels for cheep ..$30 a wheel brand new ....they are fairly light 15lbs 15x6.5 .. and look so so .....not the strongest out there , but for track days they work great ...

i think wheel weight is something that should be looked at if you are trying to save each and every pound....but for turbo applications. i dont feel lightweight wheels are that important becuase every 1lb you gain on boost will deplete the need be for lighter wheel weight
just sayin the kids that get there se-rs under 2000 pounds hit low 14s and a few hit the 13 mark on a absolutly bone stock powerplant.
weight reduction costs nothing but gains as far as performance goes as apposed to a
quick BB set-up with would be a minimum of a grand to hit a safe mid 13 as a DD.
the ratio is something like every one pound of standing weight is 8 pounds of rotational weight so yea its only taking out 32 pounds or so sitting still but it takes out more than 200 pounds trying to get you going
personally if i could take 200 pounds out of my car and spend under 100 bucks i would. It equates to better gas mileage and less strain on the clutch which would pay itself off in the end
