Missing trans mount nut and bolt
While driving today I hear the sound of metal falling on the ground. I thought right away it was from my car. So I get home and look under the hood, and I see it. The nut and bolt for the front mount is long gone. I check the trans mount, the one under that battery and I see it is loose. I think that one is missing the nut, can't see the other side. Holy crap guys! I'm glad I caught this before my engine and trans fell out. Where can I get these parts? Will Home Depot have what I need?

Get one from a Nissan dealer, OEM is fresh to death.

This is something I have never messed with, so I don't know why this happened. Hope I don't take it in the can at the dealership over these parts.

If the rubber is still good in the mount then you could check your local yards...

I have a question about the trans mount, under the battery. Does that bolt have a nut? I went to the dealership and ordered the front mount bolt. Parts man told me the left side mount doesn't have a nut, I think that's true. It just bolts right in there, right?

If this is a B13 or B14 (pics are blocked on this computer), the transmission mount under the battery has three bolts that go into the transmission, and one bolt with a point on the end (for ease of installation) that goes through the rubber part into the frame rail. None of these have nuts.

Actually, every single engine and transmission mount bolt lacks a nut. They all thread into threaded bosses on the cross member, frame rails, etc.

I believe the front mount (dogbone) has one nut (on the top) and all others, as you've mentioned, do not...more of a nut-plate or nut-weld.

What about the mount in front, by the radiator? That one looks like it takes a nut and bolt.

You're probably right, I likely forgot about that one.
I am positive about the transmission mount though. I've dealt with those more times than I want to count.
