Personally I would send that car to a crusher right away and go out and purchase a brand new Chevrolet Aveo.

One of the best return on investment purchases I've seen in a while. Keep the car, period. Freshen up the car, consider a VE swap (done properly). Make history for another 200-300k miles. AND you have no rust to deal with? Sheeeit you'd better keep it or one of us will buy it on the spot. Especially a hardtop.

Fix it!! For a few thousand dollar investment you can mechanically restore an awesome car that you love.

Very cool story. Definitely keep it. Back in 04 I sold my very first se-r that had 296k miles on it. Didnt get to see it hit 300k and neither did the new owner as the car got totaled a couple months later when a mini van pulled out in front of him. It died at 297k miles. My last se-r was a lower mileage one rust free and now my current se-r now has 265k miles on it and it just completed 1500 miles to California for the West Coast Convention, did 6 20 minute sessions on Button Willow road course rarely below 5k rpm, a total of 80 miles on the road course, then 12 drag passes the next day at the drag strip, then a stop in Az and threw it on the dyno where it laid down 153whp, 141 tq on the DE, and then drove 1500 miles back to Texas, a total of 3362 miles in a week and never broke a sweat. Like they said, the b13 is one of the most enjoyable cars out there that takes it all and gives back everything. You can beat the crap out of it and still keeps on going when cared for properly. There really is no other car like it that can be an absolute blast even in stock form. It made me realize once again that this is why we became enthusiasts of this platform and engine and why there will still always be enthusiasts for these old econo boxes. So all in all, id say put some love into her for treating you so well and put another couple hundred thousand miles on her.

I'm in the market for a hardtop. I'll give you 350 for it.

As for it getting stolen. I know a few guys that I've worked with that are from Mexico. They know I'm into B13s. We got to talking and from what they told me. The B13 is the most stolen car in Mexico. Lol

One of most stolen because it is one of the most produced and longest running chassis in Mexico.
