Temporary fixes for low oil pressure?
Have a strange issue, hopefully it's oil pressure sender related and/or gauge related, but on my DE I'm getting 50 psi cold idle oil pressure and ~10-15 psi warm idle oil pressure. Sounds good right? Well, at speed and varying engine RPM, the PSI does not fluctuate at all. It maintains a steady oil pressure dependent of engine speed. 1000, 2000, 3000 rpm... I'm getting ~10-15 psi warm. I'm going to replace the oil sender unit before I do anything else, but if that does not fix the issue, what are some quick fixes I could try? Should I check the oil pickup, run atf or some liquid treatment through the system, pressurize the oil filter port? Anything mechanical (other than the oil pump) that I could easily check? If anyone's had a similar issue or a fix for this let me know.

Oil change.. use a good oil.. maybe go thicker than usual.. use a k&n or wix oil filter..

You could try running some essential lube before doing the change .. it's pretty good stuff an could help break shit free.. however that's like a dual edged sword because sometimes break in shit free can clog other things an create more problems..
