Thread: Cars shutting off at bumps while driving

I bought my car a little over a month ago and noticed once awhile when I hit pretty good bump my car powers off for a brief second. Also happens if I throw my NX into a corner at a good speed it does the same. Mainly turning right when that happens.

I am sure the harness is getting grounded out somewhere but where on the harness should I look if its not the main harness ground under the intake. This is on a 1991 NX2000 with the original DE.

check that your battery is securely strapped down, could be grounding out on the hood.

MAF wiring is loose or fuel pump going bad maybe?
