Thread: topfeed vs. sidefeed injectors

With 'fab tools' you can do about anything. Common sense part a lot of us have. Problem is, depending on which fab tools are required, it may not be feasible for most people. Mind enlightening us with your simple common sense solution?

Also, how much different is your solution from a DE side-DE top rail vs a DE side-VE top rail?

Doug Fab does the conversion. Look up one of his rails Gomba.

Unless I'm looking at the wrong rails, his rails are totally custom. According to @boostednx, you can somehow modify your stock sidefeed rail to work as a topfeed with some easy fab work and common tools.

no he would modify his topfeed de rail that he stated he had with new mounting tabs to go to a ve intake manifold to use his 1000cc topfeed injectors he already has .

Oh I see, misunderstood. I was kinda hoping you had a secret about how to convert a DE sidefeed to topfeed

I would add only that top feed injectors are not working so good over 85% duty cycle as the side feed.
Side feed are "cooled" from the fuel ,from my understanding , as I have seen them working on almost 100% duty cycle with no issues.
