Yes the 4 prong is for automatic cars that had two speed fans(like my car), and the 2 prong was manual cars with one speed.

The measurements you took of your radiator DO NOT match my radiator in my NX. The length from top to bottom on yours that is right at 15" is closer to 15.5" on mine.

Keep in mind that you're looking at multiple chassis and engine combinations. Sticking to the subject of SR20 B13's, my experience and in checking FSM's is that manual transmission variants have a single speed/2 wire fan, and auto trans ones have multiple speed/4 wire fans.

So I don't find it surprising that B14/P1x/GA16 cars have different fans & radiators.

That's true. But would've thought they maybe they had kept some things the same... guess not.

From what I've gathered they used the same radiator fans in the 1.6 & 2.0 (hoping this is true? :???, and luckily (or unluckily) found a set in a '91 GA w/5spd & 2 prongs (though the pass side doesn't fit quite right, but I got a pass side coming from Jay).

I've got quite a few fans now- 8 soon to be 9 when the 1 Jay's sending comes in.... went a little crazy today (& prices were right), but hey this shit's been driving me nuts. Hopefully out of all of it I can get something working outta it, surely.

I find this weird because 1 of the B13 GA's sitting in our yard right now is a 2 prong auto. Haven't even checked my GA Nx's.

Is your measurement from the bottom mount that hold the nipple to the top mount?

Yes. I'll check again tomorrow to make sure, and take pics if necessary. I might have my stock fans somewhere, that I can check too, just for more info.

Radiator & fans conundrum
The rad you have is for a b14/n14 gtir I have the same one fitted to my N15, you will need fans from a b14 I'd say.

Here's mine with the stock fans bolted on, everything lined up perfectly.

I know Koyo do 2 one for the GA engine and one for the SR, the only difference being the outlet size for the hoses.
