Thread: Radiator & fans conundrum

The NX has two fans. The driver side fan will fit on both the driver side, and in the center by itself. The passenger side fan will only fit on the passenger side. The radiator looks correct in the pic.

I am strting to think you have been shiped the wrong radiator..as you mentioned I have the same readiator and stock B13 fans. I switched the rad in with no issues whatsoever.

Dang it... I don't doubt it, my luck always.

Contacted the seller and he says he only has and sells one radiator for the Sr20, so it can't be the radiator.

He wanted me to talk to Jay (which I already have lol) & Pat since they have this radiator too to see what they say.

So did you actually compare them...cuz it's possible they sent you a radiator that's not even for an SR20...IJS. Or do you not have another one to compare to?

Haven't had the chance yet to compare them, need to pull the old one out of the parts car.
Seller said he only has/sells 1 radiator for the Sr20 & that he double checked to make sure that I did indeed get an sr20 radiator.
I dunno... This fan game has gotten old.
Almost to the point (like early to mid-week) to be adding fluids to everything...

You know what would help? Using a measuring tape and posting dimensions of the mounting holes on the radiator. Speculation goes nowhere fast. If you want actual data, use actual tools.

From the bottom mounts the nipples go into (no need to measure the passenger side top mount as there is only on tab on that fan that mounts to the radiator)...

Thanks to @eggman and his diligence, research and own frustration he got this resolved.
He could probably explain this better than me.

The good news is, is I am not crazy lol

So what was the problem?
