I haven't compared the 2, between the heat & trying to get work done on the Chupa too I just haven't gotten to that.
Jay has this exact radiator & said everything was plug-n-play for him though.

I sent her the proper fan for the pass side, and she can use whatever one of the 3 is best that she already has for the drivers side..

I actually learned alot. I have B13 and B14 fans here and a B13,nx,B14 and P10 to look at for reference..lol

I am not so sure it so cut-n-dry as that Jay lol I wish it was might have been easier to notice.

But there is still the issue of the top mounting tabs that don't line up to the radiators mounts, they stick up above about 1/2".
And then the one with the heatshield that I thought was a passenger side fan but covered up the inlet hose connection... when put on the driver side of the radiator fan the fan and shroud protrudes beyond the radiator on the side about 2" and the top mounting tab doesn't line up with any of the radiator mounts at all (& still has the same issue as the others that it sticks up above about 1/2" of any mount if there was one close).

Also apparently found another issue, there are 4 prong plug connectors (which all of mine are) and 2 prong plug connectors for the fans (the ones on the fans themselves).
And some jackass cut the wiring on the Chupacabra right where they join the bundle on the main harness... didn't notice this before until yesterday.... so yay, something else I need

????
Anyone know the difference between the 2 prong and the 4 prong plug connections?
And is it the same amount of wires?

And here is why I say that. I am not trying to start an arguement with anyone, far from it. I am just trying to clarify everything.

This is all pictures showing the 1 fan (from a '95 G20) that has a heatshield, that I thought was the passenger side fan but it lacks the notch/cutout for the inlet hose and the mounting tab on it still sits 1/2" higher than any mount on the radiator... all pics are of it on the driver side of the radiator.

Showing the fan sitting on the nipple sitting on the outer most holder thing on the driver side. Overhangs about 2" & see at the top the mounts don't line up and the fans mount is about 1/2" too high

Close up of top mounting tabs on both fan and radiator... Yarn is just to hold it in place.

Backside view

Moving on to centerish nipple mount... Foot just there to hold it from sliding over lol

yeah,I am done here. I tried to help as much as I can....I have researched, taken pics, fitted to 3 different radiators, took my cars apart, and pulled fans at the junkyard for you....so I am out of ideas here.
I give up.I cant spend any more time and money on this rediculous problem.

I have never had a single issue in 20 years with replacing a fan in ANY of my cars over the years. I guess I have been getting lucky, because no matter how hard i try,I cant seem to be of any help here.I tried.

That g20 fan is obviously not correct....and obviously a 2 wire plug has 2 wires...a 4 prong has 4 wires Thats all I know at this point. My b14 has a 2 wire fan just using 2 of the 4 wires(it was like that when I bought it,apparrently,so I know that works)
I have a OEM stock 93 B13 ser and it has a 2 prong plug...I looked at my B14 and it has a 4 prong plug....FOR THAT REASON I came up with the conclusion that B13 was 2 prong,B14 was 4 prong...obviously I was mistaken and theres more to it than that.
Thats the only reference I have here so the fact that you failed to tell me you had a 4 prong(who knows why?) means I sent you a 2 prong.
Based on my cars in front of me,thats all I have to work with.
I sent you the correct fan for a stock 93 b13/nx for the passengers side. There is a pic in this thread that looks like it shows a drivers fan that fits.
I didnt realize you had a problem on both sides,or I would have sent both fans, but I figured if you can use waht you have ,why sell you another fan??

If you want to return that fan I sent you, no problem.I will even send you out a 4 prong when I get it back from you if you want.Thats the best I can do. Hell,I have a 4 prong for the other(drivers side) also but I didnt offer because it looked like you had one that works....and to save you a few dollars.
I obviously am not any help here,so let someone else jump in .
sorry,hope you figure it out.

I gotta say,I am kind of disappointed that this is becoming such a big problem considering all you have been through with the car to this point....this should be easy stuff.:???:

Auto tranny B13's have multi-speed fans, so that probably explains the 4 pin dealie.

I appreciate ALL of the research you did Jay... seriously!
I hope this also didn't make you frustrated with me. If so, I apologize.
I am new to this whole Nissan thing & honestly had no clue about a lot of this- the differences (that the differences existed for 1, the 4 prong-2 prong thing, my engine missing the wires & plugs, the differences in the fans, etc.)... I am just learning or trying to at least.

Thank you for the clarification on the 2 prong & 4 prong.

And I did some digging up into my main harness bundle and each seem to only have 2 wires cut from each. So it does look like I need 2 prong.
So if you sent a 2 prong fan Jay, that's exactly what I'll need. Now just need a 2 prong driver side and the wiring and plugs from the main harness too.

I too am tired & frustrated. And disappointed that this has become an ordeal period, I had no idea there were differences especially with the plugs/prongs. It should've been just get some fans, plug-n-go type deal. Also didn't realize that I was missing the actual radiator fan wiring on the harness... since we've been concentrating so much on the backside/firewall of the harness recently (trying to make sure everything was reaching, connected to the correct things & changing what we had to from the Nx's old engine, etc) we just hadn't looked at the front of the harness to even notice.

It really sucks that all this has become a big ordeal and is slowing everything down. I dunno what to do now

So I drove a few hours 1 way to check out some b13's, b14's & 1 G20 that this 1 yard had today. Though they couldn't tell me what engine each had, just told me to come and look.
This is what my research shows...

This is a '95 G20t (with a 5 speed trans) had 4 prong plugs and this pic shows how the fan sits on the radiator near the inlet hose...

So looks like the G20's radiator inlet sticks up further than an SR's.

4 prong on a 93 GA w/auto

2 prong on 95 GA w/auto

4 prong on a 94 GA w/ auto

2 prong from 91 GA w/5spd

Doesn't seem like there's a rhyme or reason to this insanity :???:

Ran across a '94 Limited Edition Sentra too.

And the G20t's seats sucks...

A little off topic now:

So hot out, about passed out out there. Did have to sit down and take a break as I was losing sight & hearing... scary.

All G20s have SR20 from factory.

That 94 LE, was the interior black like an SE-R? Nissan used the 1994 model to clear out old parts. Some LE models have SE-R interior, seats, charcoal cloth and everything. Just 1.6 Liter engine, the 1.6 Liter suspension and brakes also. I call them LE-Rs.

Yeah, I know. Which is what makes it more of a conundrum... either they have different radiators than all other SR's or something there :???:

The 94 LE had grey interior, which was pretty picked through.

Keep in mind that you're looking at multiple chassis and engine combinations. Sticking to the subject of SR20 B13's, my experience and in checking FSM's is that manual transmission variants have a single speed/2 wire fan, and auto trans ones have multiple speed/4 wire fans.

So I don't find it surprising that B14/P1x/GA16 cars have different fans & radiators.
