Uneven deck clearance
Hey guys what would cause my deck clearance to be uneven between intake and exhaust side?

I'm using JE pistons which I believe have slight off centre wrist pins, and also very short skirts below the wrist pin.

How do I measure the deck height, average the two sides....?

never mind. Found that the piston can actually rock back and forth a little (only had top ring installed for measurement purposes) so i managed to level it out.

I thought you were going to ask why your lawn mower cut unevenly.

I like to three wheel my lawn mower, makes for interesting patterns in the lawn.

Sounds like your lawn mower needs a stiffer rear sway bar.

Not an American joke, just physics.

I had this same problem when I was in my late teens. My doctor gave me a shot and told me to stay away from trailer park girls.
