Looking and only seeing (what's useful that is & not sure how much help it is really) on a B15 site and OLD ass thread saying that it's an APS sensor.
But is it needed?
And since I don't have an airbox, where would it go?

if you read it all, they just have it disconnected and no issues. for obd1 you don't need it at all, and there is no place to plug it in.

Trying to learn here 😑

Anyways, another's question... or 2:

-the car & harness is obd1 and the engine is obd2...
What will I or won't I be hooking up and using on the engine side?
I figure everything on the harness/car side will be used?

Also, between the old engine ('92 hp & a '99 lp) I found a boost sensor (small black plastic thing) lying on the ground, not sure which it came from and/or if it's needed and where it goes?

use the obd 1 harness and sensors on the obd 2 motor.use everything from the old sr motor.fans...go with some electric aftermarket fans
thread cheap.and you can search everywhere for them used.ebay, cl....get a set of 12 inch fans.

Yay for dumb questions /sarcasm

Yeah, I have some more.

1) Wondering if anyone here has had to clean the entire insides of a fuel filler neck before & if so, how did you go about it?

2) On our obd1 harness/car to obd2 engine adventure we have ran across a lot of issues that is unaddressed anywhere.
Today we found out the harness from the transmission (the Nx's original trans) will not quite reach the connection to the obd2 engine- apparently the obd2 engines sensor connections on is up higher (on the upper intake manifold) and the obd1 engines is on the lower intake manifold. So the transmission sensor connections at the end of that same harness can't reach the transmission sensors. Looks like we're going to have to cut-n-splice wires I take it?
Moved on

Another issue, but this is regarding my Nx1600... All below is FIXED now.
Took little T-top beast out & she drove fine yesterday when I got her out to stretch her legs.
But today she is doing the shimmy-shake.
In Park- idle is nice and smooth but in Drive just idling she is sputtery rough, the rpm gauge will go from 500 to 1500 randomly.

And on another note:
she has had a leak around the exhaust header for awhile (we've messed with it here & there but nothing seems to help so just been kinda ignoring it) and we haven't been able to get it tight enough to get rid of the leak (& hopefully that's what's causing the downpipe to bounce around making knocking noises on the undercarriage, even though the exhaust hanger is on there nice & tight).

Ok, another dumbass newbie question... yay for those, right?
I've read and read. And opinions are like assholes everyone's got 1.

SO my next question is going to along those lines.
Seeing as the work on the car (drivetrain wise at least is almost complete), I would like to know what is the next best thing to do to this car?
Leaning more towards a bolt-on affair (& cheap) but something that will wake it up some but of course not cause any issues (oil leaks, draining the engines life expectancy, overheating, etc.)... remember this engine has 175k mi on it & is just a SR20de. Not really thinking Nos, turbo or along those lines.

It already has:
-a 4-2-1 header
-wai intake (which will eventually be cai sometime)
-aluminum radiator

Though I would still like to get front & rear strut bars, so I am on the fence about what will come first really... especially since I can't just buy all this stuff at once and have to wait quite awhile inbetween the bigger purchases (big$ to me is close to $100 and over right now, remember I got robbed and all :mad.
But I am just trying to get a list ready of what's worthy for when the time comes, whenever that may be.

I might remove the AC sometime IF I can get the windows working and IF I think I can live without it, especially it being a black car & with our heat+humidity.
But other than that don't really want to sacrifice anything else.

That's expensive lol maybe 1 day or if I find an awesome deal or win the lottery.
Would absolutely love some nice lightweight rims one day though.

didn't know you were so partial to useless sound deadening, heavy unseen bars, worthless spare tires, heavy batteries, etc. there is a ton you can do to lighten the vehicle without impacting comfort.

Well I have already started on the heavy unseen things, removed the brace piece under the steering column already & will probably go through the dash stuff at some point too.
Not sure if I want to get into taking out the sound deadening stuff under the carpet, from what I have heard that is a lot of work.
Neither of my Nissans have spare tires, jacks or anything in the back.
If I do end up carrying a spare I always carry full size, so that'd add a lot of weight.

Wouldn't mind taking out all of the airbag bs, but I haven't even begun to see how to do that if it's even possible without setting it off.

I use to always carry a fullsize spare, hydraulic jack and a toolbox plus spare clothes & whatnot. But have grown out of that habit.
