N15 vs B14 Mirrors
This thread is to clear up any confusion and or misinformation out there especially for those trying to find a good deal on JDM Power or Manual folding mirrors.

The short of the long is this; if you have a B14, you need B14 Lucino mirrors, if you have a N15 you need, guess what, N15 mirrors!

Here is a complete pictorial comparison of the two. The black is a JDM B14 Lucino mirror and the silver is from a N15. The all "X"DM N15s are the same for this purpose (JDM, EDM, UKDM, blah blah blah).

Now the mirrors will bolt up to each chassis but the mountings are slightly off so you will have nasty gaps, water ingress and styling issues, read, it looks like ass!

Ok so the first differences that you will immediately notice is that the mirror shell itself is one piece on the B14 and two piece and two tone on the N15. The mount on the B14 is two piece and the N15 is a single piece.

Here is the B14 broken down with the mounting flange

This picture illustrates the difference in footprint on the door the two mirrors have. I "superimposed" the B14 mounting flange on the N15 mirror.

Now the mirror itself is also a different shape for some reason. The B14 has a slanted inward rectangular shape.

While the N15 has a more "right" rectangle.

I hope this clears up any confusion concerning these. At some point I do plan to make a thread all about the differences between the N15 and B14.
