Will the head studs fit through the gasket?

Thats a good idea. Yesterday the machinist offered to step the top of the dowels to go through the gasket but I said no, cause then they would be to small for the head...he must not have thought that through.

Yes the studs fit through the gasket. Which is weird cause they are rnn14.

I had a paper with measurments i took but I think its at home. Pretty sure the dowels were 14.9 mm and gasket dowel holes were 14.75 mm
