Thread: 4 speed fan control.

It did. I got the new resistor in there so it works normally. I just hate that little thing.

Is it possible to fix the broken one?

I have seen it work both ways. It's usually only the high setting that works, then in some cases 1-3 work and the high setting doesn't. It's so damn common that when mine went out, I went to the junkyard and pulled 3 resistors from 3 different b14's, only one of them worked.

I doubt it. I tried just cleaning mine up but of course that didn't help lol

My blower motor resistor was water damamged, so only fan speed 4 worked.

BTW have any pics of where this is and what it looks like and what you did?

Haha well I will be bored tomorrow so sounds like it would be a fun project to rip it out and see if I can fix it via solder somehow. Worth a try anyway. I'll post results up too.
