Thanks for the tip. Where's the best place to get a drivers side control arm, should I hit up a yard !

If you cant afford factory nissan, I'd get one from http://www.whitelinesuspensionparts.com/ . Whiteline has good parts. Dont get one from a junk yard because the ball joint could be bad.

Looks like Rock Auto has new control arms for about $44-$60

Careful with the cheaper ones. I did that once and the ball joint went bad in a week. Get the "Moog" arm. Good quality.

welll... A bunch of you were right. The control
arm is fucked. Couldn't get the new axle
To line in properly. Going to the pull yard this week.
Are all front b14 control arms the same regardless of trim level? (SE-R, GXE etc. ). ?

Rock Auto gives the same part #'s for the 1.6 and the 2.0 LCA's. I saw one B14 at Harry's Pennsburg when I was there last week and their inventory currently confirms it as being in "104". This would be section 1, row 4. So it should be the 4th row as you walk in and head up the hill.

If you're getting one from a yard, make sure that ball joint is sealed and tight. No use doing the work twice down the road.

Ok so for the heck of it I just called Autozone about the control arms. They want $85 each for a base 95-97 Sentra but $140 each for the 95-98 SE-R. The thing is, he said both part numbers are basically the same. Now even more confused!

Not confusing, SE-R means more money. There is no difference as they are geometrically the same, OEM vs OEM.

There are tons of threads on here about all the polyurethane bushings, parts, brands, and part numbers on this forum that can be found via a quick search.
