Damn! That was a brand new OEM (green) axle with the balance weight in the middle too

It just looks like the metal clamp that holds the big end of the boot was destroyed, which allowed the CV joint to separate. If that is true and nothing else was damaged, you could re-pack it with axle grease, put a new metal clamp or zip-tie on, and be on the road again like nothing happened.

Will see if someone of you are correct, ordered a new one for Friday, if that's the case I'll return for store credit.

With how bad that wheel is shoved into the fender like that, the control arm must be bent too. The force required to rip an axle joint from its socket means other things got bent up. Remove the wheel and do a complete check. I'm positive its more than just an axle. It may also have damaged the steering rack and the shock absorber shaft.

Check tie rod for a bend or a failure, at the ends as well.

Ok guys as promised I went out this afternoon and removed the driver's side axle, and then took a ton of photos of both front driver/passenger sides w/ wheels removed to see if you guys can notice any discrepancy (undamaged passenger side should be near perfect even with 174k miles). Now, minus all the grease on the driver's side of the car from the boot leaking everywhere, I honestly didn't notice anything, but here are the photos.

First set of photos are of the driver's side area where there was the damage (REMEMBER to mind the grease all over these sets of photos):

Now, these photos are of the passenger side of the vehicle, with wheel off:

AGAIN, no idea, I was just posting these because there was some disagreement between some of you about what actually was damaged. Sorry for the not so great pictures, its just an iPhone 6. ANY help would be appreciated. THANKS!!
