Help with this B14 starting problem (video)
'98 200SX SE-R, mostly stock, has sat for most of the winter since last November, almost 4 months, as it's in mint shape and the PA winters are harsh so I've been driving a jeep. I've had the battery disconnected since then also. Went to start it the other day to move it and the original starter (at 164k miles) was apparently done. Replaced the starter with a brand new one and also took my Odyssey battery to Autozone and had them slow charge it up to 100% (it was at 60% before).
I put the battery back in, and got this weird Tststststststtststststststststststs sound in the video when turning the key to start.
Here's the thing, the battery has been relocated to the trunk. In the engine bay is a switch that kills power from the battery when (I suppose) its getting too much juice. I can turn the key 3-4 times and then it switches the battery off until you manually flip the switch again in the engine bay and start it over again. Vid:

Turn your speakers up a bit. You can hear it goes Tststststststststststtststststtstststststststs on three separate start up attempts (you can see in the video how the dash warning lights go away when I turn to start). It appears to be something electrical, no? Grounds look good. Any advice appreciated it. And oh, I hate electronics!!
