Thread: Recommendations on fuel stabilizer?

Last night I ended up getting some bad gas and I noticed some stuttering and caught a detonation on my data log. I ended up putting some better fuel in the car after it stoped acting bad and it is running okay now.

However I don't feel comfortable driving around on this tank of gas how it sits. And to make matters worse it is almost full.

Does anyone have any experience with any fuel stabilizers or octant boosters?


I realize that I could drain the tank and let the gas evap but I don't have any containers for that.

maybe there's more water mixed into the fuel? if so, HEET works well for that.
