Stock ignition system sucks? Come on now.. If all is in good working order it works great. Hell I have seen 500 whp on stick ignitions.

The problem with all of that ben it's too much work. Too much searching, especially for guys on cell phones like me , By placing everything in one thread it gives the the chance for us to get to know the developer & a chance to get some questions and answers in especially important for those without a vendor section setup. Setting up one of these threads especially in the first viewable section is huge for everyone. I'd appriciate if everyone kept their uncontroled bickering out of my thread and keep it on the topic. THE PRODUCTS.

I have heard stories over the years about high horsepower cars on stock ignition systems. So there is no doubt there. If this is true and the c.o.p creates more usable hp either down or up top or even both, higher gains for the turbo guys, this would mean a equally fast car using less boost and such,more usable power overal and this would translate to a faster & even reliable car over one using factory ignition components wouldn't you say?

I am not knocking the idea. It's great to see new things being made for the FWD SR.

I for one run a very simplistic ignition set up. I run a modified distributor with a AEM wheel for my standalone along with a MSD Digital 6 and MSD blaster coil with OEM wires and NGK plugs. This set up has taken me north of 600 whp.

With all due respect to those that like the stock ignition, that's perfectly fine. I'm not knocking it by any means. I've always hated distributors. So when I say the stock ignition sucks, its just my opinion. I do not mean to degrade or insult or pass along bad information/ mislead. If you have had great result, awesome, if you want to upgrade to a low maintenance, reliable and modern ignition system , great!
