95 200sx se trunk latch cable broken

need some help with this one but how do you replace the cable for the trunk latch and get the lock on the trunk unstuck

need to either use your key or crawl into your trunk from the back seats and manually open it.

ya the key latch is stuck so now i have to crawl into it but has any one here replaced the cable to open it from inside

Yeah I've replaced mine, you can (or used to be able to) get it from Courtesy Nissan parts department in Texas

Before you replace the cable, are you sure the lock that disables the inside pull, hasn't been flipped?

When you open the trunk, it's just inside where the latch is. There is an oval cut into the carpet. You either flip the switch up or down to disable the pull inside the cabin.
