Thread: Is this worth fixing? Matter of fact is it even fixable?

I certainly would not run that piston being worried about detonation and possible fractures..... Now its become and excuse for a whole ve engine.

With some work that piston could be serviceable, but now I'm curious if the rod hasn't bent as well.
Either way, same thing applies. If you're not sure where your next meal is coming from, you could reuse that piston. Otherwise I would be looking for a replacement engine.

I would throw a new piston in..new head and call it a day..I could sell you a head..I think I still have my old one around somewhere
