Making Kydex fog light covers for Sunny 2 or 4-fog bumpers
I am installing a Sunny 2-fog on my Classic.

Luckily the fog lights are fully intact. A pretty serious web-search came up with one (1) used passenger side fog light for $210.00 plus shipping from Japan. That was it. Found a place selling a single pre-owned fog light for $90.00 but of course they were not in stock.

The Sunny 4-fog lights are not nearly as rare, but still pretty expensive on Ebay.

My original USDM '93 fog lights got destroyed by debris. I replaced them and then covered them with Nissan OEM fog light covers. I also destroyed one of my fog light covers last year. It shattered but protected the fog light underneath.

I've been watching YouTube on making Kydex sheaths for knifes and guns.

Have any of you tried working with Kydex or seen anybody do custom Kydex fog light covers on any other forums?

I think it would be very do-able, but wonder if I need to fashion a wooden replica fog light to work with?

Any input, advice or expertise before I order up some Kydex would be appreciated.

I have thought about making some kind of mesh or wire guard for my b14 fogs, I know it's completely different but it was still something I was thinking about
