A/C switch pic
Does anybody has a pic of this switch? The light went out on mine I need to see if I can replace the bulb or get a new switch. For B14, I will like to know how it looks before I take everything apart. Thanks in advance.

Damn! Jay are you 100% sure? I was afraid of that. I have spare tiny light bulbs for the dash and I was planning to fix it.

not 100% sure its not replaceable, but its easy enough to take apart,so take alook at yours and see what you think....be careful, theres a tiny spring in there that could go flying.
Now you got me wanting to take one apart, too
I can test my spares too if you do in fact want one of them.I will text or call you

Done, very easy fix. No need to take it apart. Once the switch is out you can replace the tiny light bulb. The whole procedure will take like 15 minutes.

I just changed mine. I can get a pic of the spare unit in a little. I removed the whole HVAC panel. On the back where the switch is there is a little tab you pry up, hut its covered by the plastic housing which can be removed. Then push up and out. New one just slides onm I tried to replace just the nupb with a radio shack part I got from here but it didn't workm pics as soon as I gilet outta bed.

Edit: yours is the recirc even easier you don't have to remove the extra part. You may be able to just remove the radio possen the four bolts and twist the controls. Pics coming.

ok blurry was doing this fast one handed. these are pics from the back so either turn it around once radio is out or disconnect it and do it out the car. with the recirc i believe it can be done easy in car.

here is the back with the plugs half out for the recirc.

here my tooth pic is pointing to the tab you lift up to release (mine is already released in all these). once released it pushes towards the front of the unit opposite the tab. the tab is gently pulled up away from the switch with a flathead or small item. i think i used a butter knife first time.

this shows it sliding out it is missing the cover on the front . the cover does not need to be removed if i recall

this is a pic of the tab and the button with nothing blocking it

button removed screwdriver on tab to show a better pic again the tab is gently with a small flat head pushed up to release

hope that helps or at least gives you a idea. pm me if you need any help. the button is 20 bucks from nissan i think. or find a junk yard and get one hoping it works. i tried the radio shack bulb replacement and it didnt work luckily a i got this whole unit from a car going to the scrap[per and it worked fine. good luck lemme know if i can help.
