down, but not out :(
well, its another bad day at autocrossing. a few years ago, my brother hit a tree with my black se-r. he fixed it, and i continued autocrossing it. i ended up buying my first turbo car a.k.a Lemondrop, yellow gti-r powered se-r. it had a slight compression issue on #2, but still pulled like crazy, until sunday.

on my first run after the first "chicago" box, i noticed the steering felt harder. luckily i was red-flagged for a car off course. i slowly went to grid, once there i checked the belt, it looked it was gone and then realized the waterpump wasnt running. it temp gauge was near h, i turned it off immediately. i drove back to the pits and actually found the belt, it just came off but was badly damaged. went to the closest autozone and got the same exact size belt, 35 in. 4 rib belt but couldnt get it back on. went back and and got a 36 in. 4 rib belt and fit perfect. started it up, and thought everything was ok until i noticed the temp goin up. the waterpump was turning, but i think it was too late. finished 2 runs, 3rd run was wet from a rain delay, 4th did it for good. coming out of the 2nd "chicago" box i went to 2nd gear and floored it, once i did the engine bogged down, so i coasted from finish to the pits. it wasnt burning the coolant, and oil looked good.

well after it was all done, i ended finishing 2nd in street mod class with only 1 good run. i was off by 1.3 seconds. i beat my brother in is multiport fuel injected mitsu conquest by 2 secs. first place was a guy that has a slightly modded eclipse gsx, which i actually have beaten with my black se-r when i was in dsp class.

i just checked compression and #1 is 120, #2 is 70, #3 is 115, #4 is 120. plugs look like this, #1 is brown, #2 is tan/black, #3 is tan, #4 is tan. coolant is red, i put green antifreeze and royal purple motor oil, when i drained radiator and was probably only half filled.

dont know when it will be running again, but hopefully soon. i will miss driving it. once we remove the engine out, me and my brother will tear it apart and see if i will rebuild it or replace it. here are some pics :

what it basically looks like now

17x7 superleggera wheels, now sold

15x8 rota rb's in hyperblack, now on my dd

and what makes this so unique, intercooler piping through the radiator

my old black se-r i sold to get the yellow one

Sorry about your troubles, but do you know what wheels are on the black Classic?

they are 15x8 35mm offset rota rb's in hyperblack. they look kinda like chrome or silver or gunmetal depending on the lighting. they were on the black classic, then yellow classic, now on my b14.

How bad was it? I've got a car with a junkyard SR20 motor in it. It has a weak cylinder (about 30psi low), but I was thinking about just boosting it until it blows.

it was already 40psi off, so was it got overheated, it let go. it just had a really loppy idle, once i got going, it felt fine.
